Arthur C Clarke, famous sci-fi writer, has died of heart failure at the age of 90 in Sri Lanka, where he has lived since 1956. He has written over 100 books, sic-fi and non-sci-fi, and collaborarted with Stanley Kubrick on the screenplay for 2001: A Space Odyssey.
Clarke had just finished his latest book, which he co-wrote with sci-fi writer, Frederik Phol, called, The last Theorem, which will be published later in the year.
